Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? Nomad Opening Doors, a small and dedicated homelessness charity, is looking for committed and compassionate volunteers to support our housing team.
Flexible Hours – As a volunteer, you’ll assist our housing officers in a variety of tasks that directly support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Your role could include:
- Helping with administrative tasks
- Assisting with housing assessments
- Communicating with and supporting clients
- Helping housing officers with weekly visits and housing-related support
- Assisting with basic cleaning and maintaining safe living environments
- Providing general day-to-day support to the housing team
Whether you can spare a few hours a week or more, your time can make a lasting difference.
We’re looking for volunteers who are:
- Reliable and empathetic
- Good communicators
- Willing to get involved and support wherever needed
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to drive would be ideal, but not essential
