Milo: The Creative Comeback

Milo* first came to us four months ago after being moved around various parts of the UK. He had faced several challenges in the past, but we were able to support him by providing a safe place to live in one of our training flats.

From the outset, Milo expressed a desire to get back into work. Through a few one-to-one sessions, we discovered his talent and experience in graphic design and digital marketing. He had even run his own small business before but had lost all confidence and motivation.

Together, we explored ways to help him gradually rebuild that confidence. He began volunteering with the Nomad communications team. At first, Milo was timid and anxious about meeting the team, but with gentle encouragement and support, he soon found his feet. He helped create engaging social media posts for a fundraising campaign, which brought in valuable funds for Nomad. He also worked with the Clarity team to promote a new property, helping to attract new tenants and increase income.

Since working with us, Milo has shown real growth. What began as a reserved and anxious presence has evolved into someone who communicates with confidence and ease. Encouraged by this progress, Milo is now developing a new small business idea he hopes to launch in the near future.
