Going Green. For now and for the future

Nomad are going green!

We’re working in partnership with Aviva Community Fund to raise money to reduce the carbon footprint of our properties. Nomad feels it is vital to contribute towards reducing energy uses in our properties, not just to help our clients beat the cost-of-living crisis, but also for the long-term impact on the environment.

“Many of us make decisions about our homes, our energy providers or our lifestyles with the environmental impact in mind. But those people who are facing fuel poverty, or who are at risk of homelessness, simply don’t have that luxury. This doesn’t mean they aren’t interested in environmental issues; we want to help our tenants have a positive impact and save money on their energy bills. Which is why we’re investing in energy efficient changes to our properties.”

Karen Awdhali, Head of Operations at Nomad, is keen for these changes to have an immediate impact and a long-term future. Simple changes like electric showers, sensor lights for communal areas and better loft insulation could really help our clients to cope with the cost-of-living crisis this winter.
